My Riding Horses Experience So Far
Riding on a horse is terrific but scary. You have to be super cautious on how you get on the horse, and how you care for the horse. I have learned so far how to groom, and lunge a horse. It has been a lot of fun, but it has also helped me build confidence to be with the horse. Horses are much bigger than you are, and they can not make as quick turns as we humans can. I have had that experience already. One time, I misheard my teacher that she wanted me to take the horse out to the arena, but I was headed towards the stall because that was my instinct thought of where the horse was meant to be. From that, I tried to turn around quickly, but I ended up getting my foot stepped on! What a bruise I had! Besides that little mishap, learning to care for a horse has been one of the best things I will ever do in my life! I hope this has showed you that riding horses is a lot of fun, even if you have a fear of things bigger than you, or animals.

Horse lessons has continued to go very well for me. I have not gotten injured recently, and have gotten faster at grooming my horse. Her name is Summer, and I love that she is a female just like me. It makes me feel more comfortable around her, and keeps me and her at ease. A horse can sense feelings and emotions that even the slightest amount of anger you have in your body and effect their behavior immensely. I have now learned how to bridle and saddle my horse. It is a lot of fun when you get more comfortable with practicing. I have experienced a walk and a trot on the horse, and I can sure say, the trot feels like you're being on a wild bucking bronco. (maybe not that dramatic) But continuing on, I've learned to steer, turn, mount, and dismount my horse; as well as taking off her saddle and bridle. I continue to encourage you, my readers to try this amazing experience. This really could change your life, and itt has started to have a big impact on mine.
