My Gym

My Gym My Gym is   PunchFront   Cheer & Gymnastics. Click on the "PunchFront" word, and it will take you to to PunchFront's home page. T his gym has become like a second home to me, even though I have been here a few months! I had got offered a spot on a competitive team, but I turned down the spot because of  financial problems and family issues. It could also cause a lot of stress for me, so I decided to turn down the spot, and probably try-out next year. It benefits each other because of levels, if I am at a higher level, I might get a spot on a higher team.   My whole family felt like that was a great decision, so we are putting that on hold until later some time. I have made a couple of friends there, and everyone there works very hard. My coaches are very nice and understanding, and they work hard for all the kids there, big and small. They also have summer, winter and fall camps. I have not been to one yet, but it sounds like a lot of fun!

Horse-riding Experience

My Riding Horses Experience So Far Riding on a horse is terrific but scary. You have to be super cautious on how you get on the horse, and how you care for the horse. I have learned so far how to groom, and lunge a horse. It has been a lot of fun, but it has also helped me build confidence to be with the horse. Horses are much bigger than you are, and they can not make as quick turns as we humans can. I have had that experience already. One time, I misheard my teacher that she wanted me to take the horse out to the arena, but I was headed towards the stall because that was my instinct thought of where the horse was meant to be. From that, I tried to turn around quickly, but I ended up getting my foot stepped on! What a bruise I had! Besides that little mishap, learning to care for a horse has been one of the best things I will ever do in my life!
